was just thinking about how you had to reply with a 👍 to rsvp on the original proto of @event, before frames were a thing.
rsvping in frame is way less friction, but having said that there were benefits:
- the casts would spread the event to more friends' feeds
- you'd see a lot of extra activity when you tap into @event casts
bc ppl wouldn't just reply with the thumbs up, they would also add a note, and the notes would increase engagement. probably an opportunity for the current product to learn from this.

had to take down the @event share notifier last weekend bc it broke (thanks to @cbxm and @shoni.eth for reporting). just upgraded it to neynar webhooks and redeployed, should be near-instant and smarter about when it notifies!

Last week was a great one for @event. Along with the optimism after demo day, usage hit yet another week of 15% growth (retention strong as well).
Eventcaster is also expanding beyond just "onchain meetups”. Every moment is an @event, an opportunity to grow your onchain community. Can be a live show, podcast, community call, product launch, mint, proposal, anything that fits on a calendar.

How do you feel about recruiters being at events? One of my colleagues got denied a pass to an event today purely for being a recruiter - he’s really passionate about crypto and spends so much time helping others in the office understand the tech. Does it hinder the experience?

1. auto mark attended when clicking the join link on @event frames / DCs
2. allow you to auto invite your attendees as members of your channel
