i don't think it's in the best interest of a consumer hw startup to have a big buzzy launch. obscures finding the right early adopters which is especially important since early hw will have rough edges that requires margin for forgiveness from customers.

Crazy to me how big of an emphasis is placed on BD in crypto. BD is usually a bullshit job at a startup (rarely do partnerships really matter). Not that different in crypto IMO.
