buoy notifications now exclude casts from spammy accounts

(including for webhooks & slack integrations)

We've made several adjustments over the last few weeks to improve Buoy's search speed and reliability.

We no longer index casts from spammy accounts. We're relying on @openrank to determine which accounts are considered spam or not. Going to try this out for a few weeks and see how it feels. If you notice anything off please let us know!

We've introduced a timespan filter which improves search speed greatly. New searches will default to the last 7d.

We're in the process of migrating to a new infra provider that will also help with search speed.

i just found out the all-time filter is set to buoy max 🫨

i really wish Buoy had templates for me to use to get started. i basically just put a 🛟 up for my app and my company.

but what about friends or other fun notifications? i think that would be really cool to have new things to be notified about.

We are starting to see normal levels of queries and query speeds.

We will be making a few more algorithmic adjustments in the next week to dramatically decrease latencies as well as a few feature requests.

Alerting, monitoring and webhook services were completely unaffected throughout this cluster upgrade.

Just a follow up, we’re in the process of rebalancing our clusters and it’s taking way longer than we thought. It’s a critical piece of infrastructure that after completed will def make the searches snappy and performant again.

I did the exact same thing last night. Warpcast doesn't support searching Japanese characters... while @buoy does! My grant submission would have taken way more time if not for buoy.
