Eizin Suzuzki (whose real name is Hideto) was born in Fukuoka in 1948. In the '80s he was already a well-known illustrator, with a characteristic style, very much in line with Seizo Watase (in the "vectorization" of space, although the latter is totally "manga" as far as the characters are concerned) with whom they lead the vanguard of the eighties "beach" aesthetic together with the great Hiroshi Nagai.

He has collaborated with great artists such as Tatsuro Yamashita and Katsumi Horii, to name a few names.
