i have been pursuing music since 2011, when i graduated high school. i had been doing public speaking all through high school for a peer helping program (that saved my life) and i would end my speeches with these spoken word poems. reflecting back at them makes me cringe a lot BUT Its the foundation of why i do what i do. people needed to see rawness and needed to see someone openly sharing their pain in a way that was alchemized into some kind of art.
those core teachings, seeing students AND faculty get affected by It , changed my life in more ways than i can describe (my therapist and i are still working that out LOL) -- but. It is my why. people need to see that its okay to feel or not. whatever It is.
