I noticed that Warpcast, by doing the opposite of Twitter, created an environment to pilot new consumer tech and social products.

Instead of beta links, users can see their existing Farcaster activity already being rewarded on your platform, solving the cold start problem.

i’m very bullish on music curation. if spotify is late-aughts radio, then something has to be the new Pitchfork.

the spotify algo really just reinvented top 40 radio.

people are finding music either through other algorithms or through online communities.

the latter feels like a return to the record store.

there was a vibe shift between 2020 and 2024 NFT culture.

2020: buy for speculation, access to high market cap communities.

2024: buy art that speaks to you, support friends, access to projects you believe in.
