Post a daily drawing during the month of October
I'm glad inktober is over, I was getting really tired of it. Here are some concluding thoughts:
2024 is the third time that I completed inktober, the first time I did in 2020 and the second time in 2023
This year I chose to use a dipping pen like last year, but the sketchbook paper seemed to be very sensitive to the nib and to the ink so the the flow of the pen wasn't quite right and the bleeding was abysmal.
Still, I commited to using that dipping pen in that sketchbook - honestly don't know why but it felt the right choice
I want to share the first inktober drawing I ever did in 2020, just to show you the incredible manner in which I've barely progressed at all in inking in the last couple of years:
