obviously personal bias but a lot of the most successful people i know in my life at some point played video games a lot
some common traits
1.) stubborn (to a fault sometimes)
2.) think outside of the box
3.) very passionate about what they are doing
4.) very mentally tough
meanwhile i still see people who think playing video games is bad
obviously, yes when done too much like anything it is, but when done in bursts its really effective
whenever i was (and still am sometimes) upset about something i would always just play a video game to forget about it, until i fully processed whatever was going on
if i ever have kids, the first thing im doing once they are old enough is handing them a laptop and having them carry me to diamond 4 in league of legends

fun fact ive never used a spreadsheet/excel in my life
in college whenever I had to write something in excel I'd ask the professor if I could do it in SQL and they'd always say yes
was a great way to learn it TBH, use it every day now as a part of my job
