Tonight's progress. This began in Blender before moving into ComfyUI.
Using 3-color masks and three of my calligraphy pieces to generate animations. More to come, this is a low-resolution WIP piece, the final will be quite different.

Sorry for forgetting to post this, but drop day will be tomorrow at the earliest, not today! Having started my new job, I can't pull long days at the studio until my work week is up. I'd rather not push out a rushed artwork just to meet the deadline. Drops will likely be on Fri, Sat, Sun or even Monday for the next two months! So bear with me as I figure out the best timing. Thinking Monday makes sense because then I can complete it thru the weekend and drop on Monday when people are paying attention again.

My last trip of the year is coming to a close - will be driving 6 hours back home to Boston today. Bittersweet for sure.

Starting a new job on Monday that'll keep the lights on all winter and allow me to spend all my spare time on art without worrying about sales. It'll be a big change and I'm nervous but excited.

This is what I worked on all weekend.
The music is controlled by the position of each dancer on stage, using 2 Kinects, SuperCollider and Ableton. The visuals are generated off of a live camera of the dancers, using StreamDiffusion.

It took 4 networked computers to accomplish this!

I barely slept this weekend and ended up winning two awards at an MIT hackathon for live performance tech! And how was your weekend?? 😂
