Hello here is update from giving the latest dev update now:
We just released v0.40.0! The release contains quite a bit of work and is intended to be a mainnet release candidate. We'll use this release to upgrade the Campfire testnet and hopefully start the Housefire testnet as well. Here are some highlights of work in the release:
- Fixed replay protection for shielded transactions involving IBC
- Refactored transparent and shielded transfers to allow for multiple sources, targets, tokens, and amounts
- Added support for fee payment directly from the MASP
- Improved tooling for creating DB snapshots
- Batched transaction improvements

Further to "Mainnet parameter discussions," we’ll need to bootstrap Namada’s data protection by attracting early deposits for each kind of asset, and we can incentivize deposits by reallocating ownership (allocating new NAM token issuance, or “inflation”) to depositors.
