Skybreach Dungeons Open Beta week 1 Dev log:

- Added an Easy mode. Each week 1 dungeon will have an easy difficulty, you can identify it by Skulls (2 skulls - ez). Obviously easy dungeon offers less rewards and Chunky gains less XP (more on XP later)
- Improved Leaderboard display, to show all entries
- Various fixes and improvements to game client, better dashing too
- Improved mobile styling, although still no touch controls
- Started working on gamepag support
- Tons of bug fixes and UX fine tuning. More to come

Next up:
- Global leaderboard
- Better rewards dsisplay
- Working hard to Land Settlement management and surveying
- Resource gathering: Planning and MVP

We'll make all the other features and plans public when the time is right.

We are almost ready to launch a public alpha release of Skybeach Dungeons. Hopefully in the next couple of days 🤞

Our first primary goal is to create a place where @base users can have fun and spend some time, while trying to complete very challenging and sometimes frustrating Dungeon runs 😅

A quick rundown of how /skybreach Dungeons will operate. Soft launching on @base in coming weeks.
Each week 4 new dungeons are generated, each dungeon is live for 7 days.

Each dungeon config takes the seed from a smart contract that produces a unique but deterministic procedurally generated layout. And it takes 5 - 11 minutes to complete, but expect to die a lot until you learn the layout and learn how to kill each enemy effectively. The goal is to kill the boss, clearing the rooms with mobs along the way and gaining abilities.

Each dungeon has it's own onchain rewards config with 4 types of rewards:
1. Single claim dungeon completion reward (once per dungeon per user)
2. Recurring dungeon completion reward (each time you complete a dungeon) (Optional)
3. Leaderboard reward by playtime (top X fastest to finish this dungeon) - claimable once the dungeon ends (7 days)
4. Leaderboard reward by Total Score (based on score shards you collect killing the mobs) - claimable when dungeon ends (7 days).

Someone got skybreach.base.eth @base name before we did. Looks like someone believes in /skybreach success that much that he thinks that getting a base name (bns?) is a good opportunity 🤔 And it's not just some rando. He bought our NFTs before too. I'm a little salty and a little flattered at the same time
Finally beat the boss in Dungeon 9 during our internal playtest of Skybreach: Dungeons. It's hardcore.. can't wait to start a public playtest to get some feedback. Coming soon on @base
Skybreach by @rmrk is coming to @base. We believe that the future and longevity of the onchain games is in the FUN. Game should be fun to play first and foremost, with low entry barrier and strong social aspect, leveraging both @farcaster API and Account Abstractions for the smoothest user experience. Sprinkle an intriguing Lore on top, and you have a winner. We don't want tedious value farming and pyramic scheme to be the definition of web3 games, and we will be trying our best to demonstrate that it's possible. Thankfully we have 3 years of web3 buildoooring behind our back. The first taste of the fun is coming in the next few weeks, so stay tuned
