How are you not on my Alfa?

Rode 182.5P from 0.12 —> .32
Literally sold my 5055 puts at the last green candle 😪
Took a trade; did not pan out. Jumped into calls for no specific reason.
SPX 5125C, 1.20 —> 0.50

My mistake? Taking the trade too early. One of my notes so far have been to not take trades in the first hour, especially because I like short term options (0 - 1 day). Today I broke that rule and paid for it today.
Imagine a trade for going against you literally the minute you take a position. SPX 5100C, -80% on that one candle 😪 1.30—> .30
Second time this month that I’ve had a good trade cut too early 😪 don’t get me wrong, it was a 2x 1.05 —> 3.30 but it ran all the way to 30.00.
Can’t post images, that sucks.
Put play was the correct idea though.
Monday’s here, let’s have a great week of trading! Early morning looks like a put play, but practice patience until you see your setups.

Good luck!
If you can re-enter the trade, taking a small loss is better than holding on hoping it goes your way. You can always re-enter.
Two fair value gaps underneath, y’all ready for this?
Trades from yesterday and today. Yesterday’s chop got me being too careful today although today’s play was more degen than anything else.
Two positions on SPX today, lost to chop on both positions. Will post trades later.
Quick SPX scalp today. Almost a 100% gain. 1.35 —> 2.60

It will likely continue lower.
When trading, especially in the shorter time frames, it’s essential to quickly adapt to changing data instead of being stubborn against it.

I know one of the most common themes around beginner traders is “I let my losses run”. If you can cut this habit, you’ll save a lot more of your capital.
No good setups today 😪 it’s boring on days like this when you wait all day for nothing
If you’re in the US, are you trading crypto? What apps are you using?
4/4:
In true Degentlemen fashion, SPX, 5130 put, 0.70 —> 14.10
