My hot take of the day:
One of the reasons farcaster’s clients (Warpcast, supercast, etc) have inhibited appeal to “normies” is the fact that it feels so superficial.
Any discussion that isn’t crypto related is *usually* too flowery. Rarely see any real “screw-you!” Type of disagreements. Almost seems like people are scared to have genuine conversations because the space is so small right now.
There’s no room for niche groups to grow. You hop on Twitter and you’ll find every subculture there is to find: alt-right body building bros, alt-right business grifters, furries, communists, social activists, weebs, a community dedicated to finger boarding, etc etc.
There’s no real discourse, or drama. (Which people thrive on)

It’s official, I am starting my transition out of the military!
Good morning everyone. Been a little inactive recently due to some work-related / life changes but I’m hoping to pick up the pace again this week!
I have an incredibly important interview tomorrow at 0800.
Here’s how my day went:
I left my home to the airport at 1400. My flight was delayed 8 hours.
I had to get a new connecting flight. That was delayed 2 hours.
I get to the hotel at 0300 to check in. No one is at the front desk, and hasn’t been for the last hour. I am currently on the phone with my credit card company and seeing if they can get a direct line to the property manager.
I have to wake up in 2.5 hours.
I am cooked.

It’s 0300 in the morning and I can’t sleep. I have to wake up for a weekend shift in 2 hours. God help me.
