I’m JS dev, working with huge e-commerce. New into crypto, poking around and figuring out. NFT on my avatar is reminder for myself on one scam project

who is this guy?
I'm taking $onchain pill 💊
Aight Farcasters, how to start in crypto dev with Go, Rust? For now it is more out of curiosity, but definitely looking for some new field to play after years of web dev/backend, and e-commerce solutions. Im good at JS, know some algos and I’m getting involved easily. Has some basic understanding of the crypto
Hi Farcaster People, how do you you protect yourself on a new gig? I mean if after contract is signed up 3rd party decides to void it for some reason? Because of all the intermediaries in between it’s not direct one, and from legal perspective it would be hard to challenge it
Hi folks! I have a great iOS dev, who is wrapping up his current role within fintech startup. He have 10+ YOE. He has done his part within Backstage social network, and many others. Basically this guy is startup oriented, if anyone has needs in Tech/Team Lead, mobile architect, or seasoned dev - ping me or recast this
Okay - started my journey with Go, have some thoughts on this one, will add some later
Okay #google, I see you are using JavaScript and proud of it😅 https://i.imgur.com/9y5qSNl.jpg
Today while visiting barber shop and having a haircut, I’ve seen most cute thing in a while. It was dad day for one of the barber, and he was so calm and chill while his 4-5yo kids, boy and girl was playing around.
So I started YT channel about solving LeetCode using JS in Ukrainian language at least month ago. And now feel a bit overwhelmed with how it’s going. 1k of Views, 83 subscribers, wow. Not sure what to do with this one, but probably would continue doing that https://i.imgur.com/slSwrJc.jpg
Hello Rust 🦀 and Rustlings… hehe will see https://i.imgur.com/iv0yl4G.jpg
As per blockchain- started watching some course by fireship on solidity and bc in general. Also few other smaller explanatory videos. Looks promising
It’s already a month since I’ve started leetcoding. So far solved 66 problems. Most of solved is easy, but those so far I’ve been doing as a part of my job previously. Some of problems was new in terms of data structures and algorithms. Anyway, consistency here is the key https://i.imgur.com/mEu6doX.jpg
Long story short, decided to limit myself with problems per day so will have time to continue with TS/React and other stuff
Anyway it’s cool exercise for the brains, and also one more thing to remember/learn some of the algos forgot/never used/didn’t knew before
While continuing solving leetcode problems, feeling myself like on a rollercoaster. Wow, I’m a king to No, I’m so dumb it’s just a matter of a few typos sometimes 😂
Going further - I have a question. Where to start? I mean what should I learn (and where?) about blockchain, about the development, some necessary crypto stuff?
My main reason on joining Farcaster is eager to grow. I’m seeing that the most people here trendsetters, implementing innovations and it would be awesome to learn from all of you
And that’s I have missed the Web3 world. Like for sure JS to Solidity would be obvious path. But all the base knowledge, blockhain technology in general and in terms of implementation- eg deeper understanding. Not counting all the existing proto,DAOs, networks, etc. this requires a lot of work and time to invest
Anyway - somehow being over decade in IT field, it’s nowadays hard to catch up with all the new stuff happening. Frankly speaking it’s even harder to start in a new technology now than then. Eg so much related stuff, heterogeneous structure. At least from my POV
Currently I’m in transition between projects. So working hard on self education. Replenish/refreshing knowledge on the main domain JS/SFCC, learning React, TS. Also pushing hard to leetcode, algo, and thinking about changing to backend Rust/Python/TS, who knows, maybe Cpp
Okay let’s start it. I’m into computers and development since middle school or even earlier. Have my hands on different technologies/stacks and domains. Was system administrator that time, embedded software engineer at a metallurgical plant, web developer php/nodejs/sfcc, android dev, ios trainee not counting other
