It’s not free money it fills the gap between impact and profit. You must make real impact though. I’ve seen people get upset when their app with 12 MAUs does not receive funding. It doesn’t fund effort, it funds impact.
Everyone involved recognizes it’s an experiment still. There is no playbook here, they innovated on it. Each round gets better. The goal is to find a sustainable, perfect approach that can facilitate trillions of dollars in public goods funding.

Before the Scout Game we were working on CharmVerse Connect which was like a LinkedIn platform to connect grants and potential grantees. I may have even showed some of you a POC. Then we got to endorsements, which is important for grants programs and straight up meaningless on LinkedIn.
