had a dream

was photographing abandoned mannequins in empty spaces, like I usually do

suddenly one of them looked at me with it's blank face, panicked and ran off
welcome to the copy chamber
it has been too long

I don't even know how to pair a good diptych anymore...
I used to think photography as ridiculous, lame, a waste of time and low effort.

That was before I picked up photography for myself.

Perhaps my work now somewhat reflects my previous misgivings about the medium.

Looking at my photos on a large screen:
Wow looks fine, like fine art.

After posting on social media:
Downsized to a lackluster, small rectangle within an app... all impact and meaning lost, like tears in rain.
I got bored of photographing the sea so I pointed the camera towards the resort I'm staying at and got down low for the shot.
