We’ve launched Lumino on Product Hunt! You can fine tune models without having to deal with infra setup for training. We’re also up to 80% cheaper than AWS/GCP. And best of all, you can fine-tune directly from our UI, no coding required!

Check it out: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/lumino-ai
Here’s a video tutorial on fine-tuning Llama using our SDK for those who prefer learning visually! Get started in minutes, no ML infra setup, and up to 80% cheaper than AWS, GCP, or Azure!

Our SDK and web console is out! Using our SDK, everyone can now fine-tune LLMs with just a few lines of code! No setting up compute instances, no having to build fine-tuning pipelines, and no to paying ridiculous fees for GPUs.

Our web console also enables anyone to fine-tune LLMs, even if you don’t know how to code! All you need to do is pick a LLM, upload a dataset, and hit start!

To learn more about our SDK and web console, please visit: https://docs.luminolabs.ai or https://app.luminolabs.ai.
Our LLM fine-tuning SDK comes out next week, and we’re so excited that we’re sharing a preview! Using Lumino, you can fine-tune LLMs with a few lines of code, and we’re wayyy cheaper than AWS/GCP. You can also fine-tune directly from our UI, no coding required

Had a great time talking to Nick from GRTiq about @lumino, the future of AI, why decentralized AI is important, and about my journey into entrepreneurship!

- Great event https://tomtunguz.com/software-playbook/ High quality people and had a great time meeting people
- Great discussions on hiring, early team, pricing strategies, and PLG vs SLG
- I might be the only one in SF who doesn't wear blue / gray / black. Wearing green in this pic 😂
1/ For crypto VC to really take off, we need regulatory clarity in the US. If web3 companies can’t launch their product or token in America, it will be very hard for us to attract users

2/ Quite shocked to see Nasdaq outperform ETH. I still don't know what to make of this

3/ We need more consumer businesses with 100M+ MAU and enterprise businesses generating 100M+ in revenue

Great post by Tom Tunguz: https://tomtunguz.com/web3-disclocation-public-private/
TJ Watt not being in "The Dominators" is such horseshit
- Led the league in sacks 3/4 years
- Had basically the same edge score from PFF last year as the others
- Had more turnovers (FF + Int) than the others
- Excellent run defender

flew delta last weekend for the first time in a while, and it's so much better than united. better seats, better snacks, and better service

@yogesh and I are building Lumino so that everyone in the world has access to fast, cheap, and available compute and can build AI models. It's important that AI compute isn't forever controlled by a few big tech conglomerates

Yogesh and I are so excited to announce that we have raised a $2.8M pre-seed round! The last 8 months have been an amazing adventure, but there’s so much more to come. We are expanding the team, building out AI training infra that’s never been built before, and building out our protocol
NFTs being used to combat deepfakes is fascinating, especially for non user generated content. People tend to think about deepfake videos/photos today, but AI will be able to create all sorts of content in the future, and NFTs could be one way to ensure that we can trust what content is made by humans, and what is fake
1/ I’m curious to see how big of an impact ZKML will actually have. Seems like developers will either use APIs from companies like OpenAI, or will download an open source model and deploy it themselves.

To expand on some of Archetype’s “Blockchains and the future of AI” thesis,

1/ Multi-party Computation is going to be super interesting to watch over the next few years. As the amount of public data runs out over the next few years to train models, companies are going to find new ways of getting data

1/ “In a future internet dominated by AI, it may become commonplace to prove humanity definitively in every single online interaction” is the most important line in this article in VanEck’s Crypto AI Revenue Predictions by 2030

1/ Tom's post is right (https://x.com/ttunguz/status/1760016309675536600?s=20 )

Users don’t care about the tech behind apps. As long as the tech works for their task, that’s what they want. I’ve long argued we’ll one day stop calling it web3, and blockchain and crypto will just merge as normal web technologies
Welcome to the Lumino channel! We'll be posting updates here 😀
Lucas Tcheyan's piece on Decentralized AI was one of the better ones I’ve read. Few points that are right

1 Customers are being forced to reserve GPUs even tho on demand is better
2 Lower prices will not be the only reason why customers move to new tech
3 We have to move fast here to win the market

Just read Breed’s Decentralized AI thesis. One good point they make is traditional AI might be hampered by regulations. We’ve seen governments start regulating large AI companies and data centers. There is opportunity for small players to train models on decentralized networks that can compete with large companies
