Hell yeah, escrow release is now enabled on YapBay.
Some UI elements are still not perfect but it released on-chain and the trade itself shows as released.
I might have the testnet MVP up this week as part of @celo Proof of Ship.

The YapBay trade confirmation dialog will now show you your (testnet) USDC balance and warn you if you are the seller and are trying to create a trade to sell more USDC than you actually have.
Every YapBay trade now also shows the transaction history. Also added a my transactions page so you can review the detailed state and progress of all your trades and transactions at any time.
From the YapBay frontend, escrow creation, escrow funding and marking fiat as paid now work!
Next, escrow release LOL. That's an important one.
And all of this is just for leg1... still gotta get leg2 working so we can do the full P2P, fiat-in, fiat-out remittances flow.

YapBay will show you the on-chain state of your trade/remittance at any given moment. So cool... just my humble opinion.

Well, huge news for me!
On Monday I started work as a Product Marketer for @LightLinkChain. I鈥檓 really thrilled to be working with this early-stage L2 built on @CelestiaOrg.
Also this week I am starting a part-time role as a Senior Web3 Dev at @OpenPeer_xyz, writing Solidity, working with NextJS and all the rest of my fave stack.
The last couple years have been filled with enormous growth for me, in many facets of my life and these two roles are no doubt going to permit me to 10x that growth and to add a bit more value to the Web3 space.
Thanks to my friends, family and associates for their support during this job search.
Onward and upward!
