Hot take: Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is bad. It's nihilistic, absurdist, non-aspirational, sci-fi for the Last Man. Earth is irrelevant, being replaced by a highway? Reddit ideology. Also wrong! We matter. Aliens would be (are) *highly* concerned about us & our trajectory.
