Providing funding for proposals to "build" products encourages participation from excellent external companies and builders. However, I believe that increasing funding for community-oriented events like parties and gatherings only increases the number of "takers" within the community, leading to its decline.
IMO, one-time events << building products.

※It doesn't matter whether they're physical products or software.

Sponsoring events or funding parties often serves only as entertainment for community members, and honestly, I don't believe it leads to social contributions or increased recognition for NounsDAO.
Creating products, in my view, clearly contributes more to long-term and continuous expansion of recognition.
I agree with you.

Frankly, I cannot understand at all why people approve spending large sums of money on pizza parties and event sponsorships, but this proposal cannot gain approval.
Our proposal will be active in 3 days.😄 😄

Personally, I disagree with this opinion. There are so many attractive contents and activities in the world now so very few people can find nouns without "onboarding" and only arbitrageurs will come to the community, which means the DAO will die slowly.

I feel important thing is to think "how" and "what" we'll do for "onboarding" rather than stopping "onboarding" and focusing on internal community.
Hi, I am the co-author of Prop 562 and the owner of noun no.606.

I saw some opinions about proposals on Nouns DAO, such as:

- We should create more "for us" rather than "for onboarding".
- Creating products for the internal community, then people will finally find us interesting.
- Those who say "onboarding" try to take money from "OGs".

To be honest, I strongly disagree with these opinions and I want to summarize my thoughts about Nouns DAO to avoid misunderstanding of my proposals and article.

Regarding the incident caused by the dydx update, we have summarized our thoughts.

In decentralized financial services like dydx, who should take responsibility is an important topic that needs to be considered going forward.

I'm thinking about what is web3-native. Here is what mirror team thought at the beginning.
Decentralized social network is really important to keep freedom of expression and privacy safe. And more, concepts like decentralized society and decentralized social network empower interoperability and it can leads to completely new form of services.
