I commute minimum 5+ hours per day. If I’m a little slow responding, this is why… 🤷‍♂️
I’ve yet to see an onchain app truly understand the power of “onchain.”
NYC getting started on a beautiful day! 🗽
If anyone wants to help build the grid (or just look at the feed) of today's @moshicam photos of /farcasterfridays from around the world we're building together over here: www.thegrid.pics/moshicam/day...

Use your Moshicam photos to build a photo grid with others. It's completely free and you'll get an NFT of every grid you help create. The entire feed will live onchain as NFTs, curated by Moshicam users.

Add your @moshicam photos to www.thegrid.pics as we curate a photo grid of the first /farcasterfridays all weekend long! It's 100% free and you'll receive an NFT of every grid you help us create 🙏
Added some links, theme submission, and more helpful language/flow thanks to @jessyjeanne and @arterlioz.eth 🙏

Moshicam is now free for users.
The Grid is free for users.

Onchain apps are just like online apps.

Asking consumers to pay for their own database usage historically has not worked out. This is a very based move, I hope more follow suit:
www.thegrid.pics
Users connect their wallet
AND THAT’S IT!

No fees. No weird logins.
No account linking.
No TX approvals.

We load their Moshicam photos.
We load their Base Colors.
We look up their ENS/Farcaster/Lens identities.

Grids get saved as NFTs containing every photo’s contract address, token ID, and who added it.
Every contributor gets a copy for free, minted by the backend.

Every artist, curator, community leader, event organizer should take a look at how easy it is to drive traffic to artists/creators/curators.

Make a whole grid of someone’s work. Everything is linked to the original work or social account.

Turn on Grid Mode and see how it all becomes one giant grid.
NFTs as App Data 🙏
I wanted to add reverse lookups for Farcaster and Lens profiles to my app. I literally just had to paste the link to the @airstack.eth docs and tell Cursor’s chat what I wanted, and it nailed it. First try. ~15 seconds. Absolutely unreal how quick and painless it was. I will DEFINITELY be playing more with @airstack.eth 🙏
Someone needs to start a new channel just for /Moshihacks
Today’s theme is: Gifts From Friends
So I took a photo of coffee my friend gave me yesterday, posted it to @moshicam and then added to Today’s Grid.

All are welcome to do the same:

Beans from a friend: Night Shift Coffee - Boston, Massachusetts
Today’s theme was:
Keep Calm And Post Memes

This incentivized me to create and collect memes today so I could place them on the grid.

Users can view today’s feed and get great memes, and soon they’ll be able to vote on the best ones. TheGrid.eth allows communities to quickly create, collaborate, and curate content while maintaining proper credit and attribution.
This week I built an app that uses NFTs as app data. Look at this flow:

1) TheGrid.eth’s theme today is “Keep Calm and Post Memes”
2) I created a meme for @jessyjeanne using @poster
3) I used that meme in @moshicam
4) I used that @moshicam in today’s grid

New attention on these Moshicam photos drives new attention directly to the creators of those photos.

And users of TheGrid.eth receive NFTs of the grids they create completely for free, because @base allows us to cover that cost (about $0.001 per grid per user).
