1/ Digital art plays an important role not only for Mercedes-Benz NXT, but also for the Mercedes-Benz Art Collection. The Collection recently added an NFT-based artwork by terra0 to their portfolio. ↓

During the DA Z art festival in Zurich, Mercedes-Benz Switzerland engaged visitors at the renowned Kunsthaus with a virtual version of the iconic Mercedes-Benz C 111. Using VR glasses, attendees could explore enhanced reality in an interactive, hands-on way. 👓

Yesterday’s Symbiosis sale marked our first time using a fixed USD price instead of a fixed eth price. We made this decision to mitigate potential eth price spikes after the announcement or during the sale itself.

Unfortunately, the fix did not work as expected. Our goal is to ensure a smooth and secure minting and sale process, so we have to postpone the opening of the sale. We will communicate a new date as soon as possible while continuing to work on it at warp speed.

A bit of background: As you know, we’re always expanding and adapting our tech stack, constantly adding new features. This was our first time using a fixed USD price instead of a fixed eth price to counter eth fluctuations, which relies on third-party APIs. Unfortunately, an issue arose during the live sale that didn’t occur in testing.

We’ll keep you posted and appreciate your patience!

Unfortunately we encountered a hiccup with the API handling the USD to ETH price conversion, and we're currently implementing a fix. As this issue didn’t arise during testing, we’ll only be able to confirm the fix once the mint is live. We’re rescheduling the start of the Symbiosis sale to today at 19:00 CET / 13:00 EST / 10:00 PST.
