I think social tipping is an interesting idea, but ultimately it breaks social media IMO. This app interested me more without the added layer of $degen tipping, because communication that is incentivized by gain is inherently harder to trust and adds a layer of gamification that diminishes the social context.

the real flex for a collector isn’t a big $$$ acquisition, it’s having the knowledge, insight, patience, and awareness to acquire something that is hard to find.
