One of my very first times going on tour with a band was in 2008 with my dear friends @thepark & Nino Moschella. I documented their show at the L.A. venue, Crash Mansion.

The Man, The Myth, The Legend - @derekgtaylor rehearsing in Austin, Texas during SXSW. March 2011.

The rehearsal was held at the home of @thepark friend and supporter, Peter Van Zandt. Before the week's SXSX festivities came to an end, The Park would hosted the highly anticipated "Peterman BBQ and Jam session" which would bring together local and national musicians from around the country.

"Royale Jam Session" - This image was made at one of @thepark ' weekly jam sessions that would happen at Royale, a bar in S.F.'s North Beach neighborhood. Their weekly residency was the place to be if you were an artist in S.F. at the time. You never knew who would show up but you alway knew you'd hear incredible music made by some of the city's best musicians.

"Where It All Began" is a contact sheet from the very first 'Park photo shoot in 2004, captured in San Francisco's Mission District, in the iconic Balmy Alley. These images feature the original members - Derek Taylor, Ben Schwier, Josh Lippi, and Cam Rasmussen - kindred spirits uniting in their shared love of music and the desire to spread good vibes into the world.
