❤️ Decided to take a solid break this season. Breathe. Spend time with loved ones. Back in a little bit. Looking forward to more weird and wonderful fun with you all in 2025! 🍻
Identified, extracted permaweb data from JPG's culture & curation experiment and integrated in a statistical subspace. Long thread with lots of details:

I extracted hundreds of thousands of transactions and found statistical subspaces extrapolating our common interests is this not enough, are you not entertained!? :) Read about "Collective Filter" here. Some stealth updates...

Neat: Medium's curation team "boosted" my post about the "Collective Filter." Fun to see a wave of engagement, clapping & such. Check out my wares:

Sharing old Etherscan blog posts. Here's one from 2022 surveying the L2 landscape. Interesting to read it and already feel how much has changed both in offerings & sheer scale!

Will update training data in "Collective Filter" every week or so. Just updated, added fresh projects Rhea Myers "Buy Nothing" and Matt DesLauriers "BITFRAMES." More forthcoming in the inevitable, unavoidable productization of everything.
NEW POST // Surveying relationships between cryptoart and performance art and introducing data performance that involves creators and collectors as awkward product recommendations

A playful little short story about immortality and computable blockchain art. These ideas inspired some of my creative mini projects (layer_two, Perpetual)

New 1/1 phygital just dropped on TRON
For those interested, here's the release post about Collective Filter. It's a modest first go, first version, data-driven suggestions from cross-ownership of 1,000 projects & 100,000 transactions. (Starting with Ethereum mainnet.)

Little experimental data project to be released tonight 8pm NY time, a thread with lots of detail here:

Blast from the past, 2022 when we noticed the very sharp impact on block building after Treasury's sanctions
Little experiment forthcoming: Collective Filter. NFT recommender using raw ledger data to surf collective collection trends and suggest other projects.
Earlier post near the collapse, surveying and describing stablecoins as products, now a somewhat axiomatic concept perhaps (though not by my doing!) / sharing ol' Etherscan blog posts

My first Etherscan blog post surveying schemes for classifying, describing fully on-chain assets, and proposing a preliminary functional framework:

NFT recommender incoming. From chain data, structure, a signal for suggestions. Demo:

I made an ML-driven NFT recommender years ago. I rebuilt it. It's working. #WIP. Shameless indignity of engagement farming here to see if there's interest. I hope it fails but here it is:

What's your favorite feature of Beam Chain, proposed update to Ethereum's consensus? Beam Chain proposal from Drake of EF seems exciting to me... My favorite is reducing staking requirements to 1 ETH. Partly because it could help improve distribution of building & validation and... because I'd participate in consensus myself!

Public blockchain offers a rich source of data. Anyone in the world can access and analyze the data for many purposes. One exciting aspect of this blockchain data is devising new analyses and visualizations to study blockchain itself. / sharing past Etherscan blog posts

Oh hey, fancy seeing you here! Just curious, what FC client are you using when seeing this? Mind sharing below in replies?

In canvassing this sample of data, I categorize four clear coordination patterns here: viral, initiative-based, automatic, and spontaneous / sharing past Etherscan blog posts https://takenstheorem.medium.com/coordination-and-crypto-charity-b91ec4993a48

Happy Friday. I've written many posts for Etherscan's blog as their guest writer. I'm going to reshare my past every few days. It will take me a few months to get through them. Here's one I enjoyed writing... the ledger has "latent" cultural potential; semiosis in wait for discovery, coordination.

Happy Hallowe'en to those who celebrate!
