A terrifying story:
Yesterday, I went back to the doctor for a follow-up.
My ear hasn’t healed yet, and the ear canal wall is starting to swell again 😭
They had to drain it again, and it hurt so much.
What’s wrong with my ear? What caused this? No one can tell me yet. Ugh 😢

My condition has improved. After the surgery, my right ear is back to hearing normally, maybe even better than before. The doctor removed 6 pieces of tissue and sent them to the lab, and luckily, it’s not cancer. The surgery wound still hurts, but it’s getting much better😭

Late update:
The doctor said it might be an abscess in my ear, so they decided to remove it and send the tissue for testing. I’ll get the results next week. After the surgery, I was so dizzy from the anesthesia that the room was spinning, so the doctor gave me a shot to help, and I had to rest for another hour before I could drive home. I passed out as soon as I got home yesterday.
Right now, I still have cotton in my ear, and there’s some blood seeping out. I have another check-up tomorrow.
Good news: I can hear again.
Bad news: It hurts like hell. 😂

I went to the doctor. Turns out the ear congestion I've had for several days is actually an ear infection. The swelling has completely blocked my ear canal. They just cleaned the wound, applied medicine, and now I have to keep one ear plugged with cotton for a week.😢
