Maybe I'm missing something but why couldnt @dwr.eth simply give channels based on ENS names ?
That way he can go to squatters and request they relinquish channels not becoz he's asking them to but becoz another party holds the ENS corresponding to the channel

So if you're drafting a DAO proposal, dont have single vendor lock in & keep the tone of a truthseeker, saying we aren't sure which solution is the right one so let's fund 2-3 and then look at the data on which was most effectivf
