An indie UX feedback project from

I can’t take credit for starting this but I do love giving (unsolicited) video feedback!
Had a great sesh with @hellno.eth yesterday going through /herocast – the product has come leaps and bounds since I first checked it out!

If you're interested in doing a live product feedback session, let me know :)
In my next role, I'm optimizing for growth

Put me in a company with <20 people, let me talk to customers, and we'll build from there.

Then I'll have plenty of chances to learn what I want to be when I grow up
The feedback on our feedback was great, so I'm going to try out a limited run service with Bountycaster 😇

$100 for a 45 minute call with onboarding + UX feedback on your product

As an added bonus, I can share the recording to my 50k followers (your choice after the call)

Some thoughts about searching for jobs and how my strategy is changing

thanks /firstdraft for forcing this out of me
I sometimes have to remind myself of this as an angel user

Feedback is great, but sometimes the best help to founders is to get out of the way

(Bonus points if you go out and find those users!)
This is the “builder energy” that made me fall in love with Farcaster

People building things just because they want to
Tried writing about my past two years on Farcaster for /firstdraft this week

And it’s slowly turning into an essay about my entire career so far

Will have to scope it down or chop it into chapters to get something published this weekend
Taking the next few days off from the job hunt – going to be hiking & hanging in Denver before a friend's wedding in the mountains this weekend!
Maybe controversial but I don't think that Moxie has changed anything for me

Tipping tokens were highly visible, but this is just blending into the background. Sometimes I remember there's something to claim but it's all still fake/free money to me
Build on Warpcast >> Build on Farcaster?

It may not be fully decentralized (yet), but it's effective
Updated my Linkedin! Feedback & connections welcome :)

Me sending hour-long video recordings with UX notes to founders
Need some help framing an experience for my resume – appreciate any thoughts on title & dates! (Context: currently looking for full-time Product roles at early/mid-stage companies)

Timeline:
- Joined cofounders as an advisor in Sep '22, spent ~10hrs/mo giving feedback on mockups & product vision
- Scaled up to "full-time" (no salary) in July '23 to help with GTM: led sales & discovery calls, support & onboarding, and synthesized feedback into a product roadmap
- Scaled back down to ~5hrs/mo in Jan'24 as the founders retooled and figured out what was next

I've been calling this "Product Advisor (Sep22-Jan24)" but think I could maybe say "Founding Product Manager (July23-Jan24)"?

@bountybot $5 USDC for the 5 most helpful replies by the end of the weekend :)
I need to keep my streak going and my plane is delayed

AMA about my job search?
me closing out Week 1 of my Job Search in Public
I used to think that @meesh and I could go through 4-5 apps in a /ux livestream

but today we only got through one in a full hour 🤓
Day 3 of Job Searching in Public has some fun activities 😎

- Designing a resume frame with @heavygweit using /frametown
- Weekly /ux livestream with @meesh on /unlonely (5:30pm ET)
- Kickstarting August cohort of /firstdraft
Thanks to everyone who has been reaching out & making introductions!
First Draft Club is me building for myself :)
Short summary of my job search:

- seeking Product Manager roles
- 6 years of Product/UX Research experience
- specialize in product discovery, user needs, UX strategy
- open to crypto but mostly interested in consumer

FT roles are the focus but will consider consulting/contracts if it's a good fit
Day 2 of Job Searching in Public

Let’s help Dan prove his point
