We like to act like we are creating something new here and yet everyone is using Stripe Atlas.
Understandable: it’s fast, it’s convenient, and no one ever got fired for choosing Stripe. The only reason I’m not using it is because I didn’t fall into their standard use case.
That being said, it forced me to do research, get recommendations, and ultimately find a solution that better fit my values.
All this to say: there’s nothing bad about using “the big guys” but if we ALL use the big guys then only the big guys will be left. And that’s against crypto values IMHO.

At /bcard (https://getbcard.io/) ,we are thinking about permissionlessly releasing a $degen card - that is, a debit card that will give you cash back in $degen. We just don't know if it's a good fit.

This is the most moronic thing I’ve heard. Imagine your trusted payment processor disabling payments for weeks because you flipped a switch on the admin panel.
Behaviour like this is exactly why we need blockchain. The payment industry will act like they embrace it, but actions like this show it’s only crypto-theatre.
