A white Stabilo pencil & a single edge safety blade
An incredible duo for tracing quick patterns and cutting out templates. Stabilos make visible marks on just about anything and these disposable blades just work. Used most recently for cutting out replacement padding for carpet in an old truck and starting to rough out a new cordura bike-frame bag.

Convicted Melon Liquid Death & Cool Ranch Doritos
Just grabbed what called to me on this hot day.
Blue Doritos are clearly the best variety. Kinda dug the bev, especially as a complement to the snack. It was my first time trying it and was about what I expected. It has a slight but noticeable lingering warmth from a bit of paprika. I do wonder if including a sweetener, even a small amount of a natural one like agave, makes this more of a soda than a sparkling water, but maybe I’m a purist?

It’s finally bike season in my neck of the woods! Got an incredible, chill coffee ride in this morning. This one’s intentionally a bit broad. Don’t overthink it.

Rye bread with butter 😋
Apparently a simple combo, but this one in particular is very special, as this rye bread is baked underground in a geothermal area and the butter is made with fresh cream from Icelandic grass-fed cows.

Just picked this up for the weekend from one of my favorite spots, a tiny local grocery that sells fun drinks and some small packaged eats. (A combo makers dream, really! We’ll be back 😉)
A, new to me, Vinho Verde & a soft, spreadable goat cheese with herbs.
TIL: Vinho Verde isn’t a grape varietal, but rather, the name speaks to a region in Northern Portugal, which produces reds and rosés too.
I like the subtle fizzy quality of VVs, lower alcohol %, and reasonable pricing. Now on the lookout for a red from there..
