Craft Beer

A space for people to geek-out over craft beer! 🍺

Enjoyed this delectable uji matcha beer at Kyoto Tower SANDO Bar last week.

It was crazy bitter, but really hit the spot on a hot and muggy Japan summer day.
Man, Half Acre is killing it. To achieve a collab with SN is huge. Can’t wait for Daisy Cutter’s 15th anniversary celebration next weekend!
Some tasty pickups from Mikkeller Tokyo last night:

• Setouchi Float Double Dry Hopped IPA
• Jackie O’s Dark Apparition Barrel Aged Russian Imperial Stout
• Bottle Logic Wild Conjecture Hazy IPA

*Not pictured: a couple highballs and the Naparbier Californication Pilsner 😋

River St. Joe out of Michigan is killing it as far as farm breweries go. Similar to scratch outta Illinois as far as creativity goes
Cracked open one of my special stouts from the reserve. Picked this one up a while back from Antenna America in Yokohama.
Yesterday tried this White Mamba 🐍and it was Ssssssentational. Wheat beer had cardamom, lime leaves and coriander creating a super refreshing taste. 😋
I’m wondering if I can cross post here and /beer 🤔
Also throughly enjoyed a Hazy IPA from the KOKAGE Beer/Cocono Hop beer stand 🍻
For the 1st cast, I'd like to post something educational. Infographics are pretty, but are often fraught w/ errors, subjective opinions, & oversimplifications; so here are style guidelines from the preeminent authority on craft beer!
