Seems a good a time as any to kickstart this channel. 😉 I have a ton of D&D content (articles, videos, art) that I plan to create and cast here (and recast into /tabletop). If you have an interest in producing compelling D&D content, reach out! 🙂
What was your most memorable D&D campaign and why? How long did the campaign last?
This definitely belongs in my cast about real world locations that serve as inspiration for fantasy settings. Emirikol the Chaotic is nostalgic AD&D art (David Trampier remains among my favorite OG artists). Trampier based the scene off of the Street of Knights in Rhodes, Greece. Pretty cool.
Real world locations are great fuel for adventure. We visited Adrspach in Czechia last eyar - towering rocks forming an otherworldly labyrinth. Historically, locals were afraid of it (they had all sorts of superstitions) but would seek refuge there when they were attacked.
Where I can, I use medieval fortifications, people, ways of life, & systems. It adds some realism and believability to the story. Currently, looking at medieval city layouts along a river & what they did to fortify.

Working on the DungeonMaster.me site this next week. It will be the place where I'll house all of the projects that I'm working on (and eventually youtube videos as well). Kinda dig the logo, though.
D&D was the game that defined my childhood and, if I’m honest, adulthood as well. I fell in love with telling stories. I even took a Medieval Studies minor in college (with the intent of adding realism). These books were among my favorites for setting the period and tone of the game.
I set up this channel for DMing discussions & projects for my favorite hobby - D&D. As a first cast, it seemed fine to post my most recommended book on DMing. I have been playing for 40 years now. If I were to write a book on DMing, I don’t think I could have done a better job than this. @mathieuw @ispeaknerd.eth
