Ran into Maya from @edgecity today roaming the streets of Bangkok. It made my day seeing a familiar face. 🙂
My first startup city experience has come to and end. It didn’t hit me how unique of an experience it was until I called a friend while walking home last night and to him my month was “not real life”
Tbh I went mainly because it was before Devcon and I wanted to travel to Asia early. I underestimated the value of being around other high agency weirdos, and it turned out to be one of the best months of my life
I didn’t do many activities, just lived my normal working life but had amazing daily convos with extremely interesting people all with unique perspectives on the world
I think I came out a better person with multiple new lifelong friends
I’m excited to see how these pop up cities mature and grow, there’s definitely something here

It'd be great for a team to build messaging for @metamask Propel group funded events with @xmtp
- Fund group events with MetaMask and have the option to create a group chat with XMTP protocol
- This creates a secure group chat owned by everyone and compatible across apps like @converseapp, @coinbasewallet, etc.

@edgecity is the only place an indie researcher can learn about decentralized stablecoins from @vitalik.eth and one of the largest stablecoin providers from the Circle team in the same room.
I am surrounded by some of the best builders in the world living in /chiangmai for the next few weeks and I'm excited to see what the @edgecity and other communities create. 🧱🪷

Here we go. I'm excited to begin my first large coliving and coworking community, @edgecity, that focuses on the real world impacts of emerging technologies.
I was impressed signing up with @cursive today to instantly tap and connect with people around me. It was so easy I could create my account while walking and talking to people. Cursive auto launches a web app to completely sign up. The future of apps are web!
