โจ๐ฆ @benna and I had a video call last night to discuss our plans for the next few months of building with /lanparty โfocusing on our branding, activations, curations, and how we can contribute to the onchain space with our signature style and current research direction.

๐โจ๐ฆI think one of the biggest strengths @benna and I bring to curating in the Web3/onchain space are our backgrounds as alumni of the Master of Art programs in Sothebyโs and the Sorbonne respectively. These experiences have been invaluable for our unit project, /lanparty, where we have been applying our skills in critical thinking and information processing that these schools instilled within us.
I can't thank the program directors enough for pushing me so hard (even if it was sometimes a bit too much!).

Why did we choose 'LAN Party' for the name of our curatorial duo?
1) a lot of our research is based in technostalgia and gaming (a no brainer)
2) we love the scrappy DIY approach
3) the notion of individuals putting in the work to come together in community
4) party!
