We're going to see a lot more /minigames in crypto and I think that it could be the next meta where people build this minigame-type experiences where there's potential to make money if you're good at the game
Flappybird, Wordle and other minigames took off without rewarding the best players financially but crypto enables this and allows it to supercharge the appeal of these minigames
HQ Trivia actually did give away prizes/money so that might be the closest comparison and it's why I'm excited about what @matthewfox is building with TRIVIA
I think we'll continue to see these minigame experiments proliferate across Base and Solana predominantly.
Pump.fun is basically a minigame. Try to guess the token that is successful enough to seed the LP. If FC had Solana transaction support then I think FC could be value additive as a social layer on top of the minigame.
Excited to see more of these minigame experiments and I think there will be a few breakout viral onchain games over the next year
