PP advertising leaked… what do you guys think about this one? I prefer not to do any comment…
Anyone use WatchCrunch? Fun and growing watch community social app. Basically an instagram for people sharing watch pics.
Stumbled upon the Unimatic shop in Milan this week. Already a fan of their watches but fell in love with this one in particular.

I can’t believe, this is less than $10.

Looks so amazing.
In the post now, my new AD is @nouns
Asked my AD how long I'd be waiting for a panda today.. shouldn't have asked 😅
OK maybe just one more gold. You're right, I only lost $5K.

Last one then no more.
This is one of the coolest GMT functionality I’ve seen! 👀 from Ulysse Nardin. What do you guys think? 🤩
New build is done. Was going for an Explorer 2 vibe with a green dial. Found this great “grass” green dial which turned out perfect.
It's not the recession, it's that a GP Laureato is in the sweet spot where it looks too much like a Royal Oak homage, but with a premium price tag.

I just think the $10-30K price point for any watch that isn't precious metals is an extremely tough price point, and you *cannot* live and die on a style that is someone else's.

Got the call today, picking up my new piece Friday ⌚️
Not a huge fan of KOLs (heh) but the overall review of Frederique Constant is pretty impressive. From an overall market view, it seems like they're right in the Tissot and Tudor price points, but for someone looking for a piece that's more upscale and dressy and less sporty.

Product that doesn't exist but should:

- GShock rangeman 9400 ruggedness + battery life
- Ability to store alphanumeric strings (passphrase + seed phrases)
- No network connectivity whatsoever (i.e. no bluetooth, wifi - gshock is making a big mistake with its latest lineup).
Latest mod watch build.

What strap should I put on it?
Ah yes.

It wasn't the fault of Rolex restricting supply and encouraging ADs to lengthen cues, eventually exhausting the suckers in the market willing to buy Toyotas for BMW prices.

It wasn't the fault of online retailers pumping hype watches with questionable heritage.

It also wasn't the fault of brands like Swatch going full stupid and trying to generate high prices on arguably mass produced quartz watches.

It was crypto bros fault I tell you!
Rarely do I fall in live with a Hodinkee collab, but this one makes me want to sell some pieces to fund this.

Here’s another Orient watch (I believe this one might have been the first).

I think they’re really elegant and great bang for the buck. Cannot recommend them enough to people starting their watch collection!
So we all know the watch market for deep luxury has no bids. Watches in high end are sometimes marked down 60-80% on first bid. Also, note the diamond market has completely crashed due to synths hitting the market on retail up to 80% as well. Need cash now, but can't go through the process of auction house, appraisal, and negotiations.

Hm...

You're telling me two guys that don't speak English just happen to steal exactly from one guy, knowing exactly what's on his wrist, with no commotion?

Study insurance fraud.

If you’re just getting into watches, I cannot think of a better value than Orient.

They’re beautiful (the dial looks even better in-person), they’re reliable, they have a good movement, and you can get them for $100.

My Orients sit in the same box as my luxury watches…they’re THAT good. 🤌
