pros: low ego team, all engineers, hard technical problems, high agency.

cons: you'll be working closely with me.

PSA: we've heard from a few folks of a migration related phishing email. it's not legit. please mark as spam/block sender/etc.
Notion Calendar's new "Avoid conflicts" is _so close_ to being great, but it's currently unusable for me since I can't offer the same time slot to 2 people because it treats "unbooked availabilities" as conflicts. This ~defeats the purpose of the availability feature imo.
How we're thinking about the Teams product vs the app as it currently exists:

The app will remain a purpose-built block explorer for Splits contracts (Split, Waterfall, Swapper). Think: basic contract interactions like creating, withdrawing, etc.

Teams will be pro tools: accounting, access controls, etc for _teams_
I don’t (ever) hear people saying “I wish I waited longer to have kids”
feels like the word "minting" is like "bimonthly" - it either means one thing or like,, the opposite of that thing.

does "minting" mean upload (deploying the NFT contract) or download (collect the NFT)?
Paymaster has landed!

It's a small token of our appreciation to our early users.
Learning how to cook with these All Clad stainless pans (ie make them non stick) was a huge life unlock
We at /splits have been building Teams for the past few months.

Our goal is to make it easier _and_ more secure for teams to use Ethereum as their bank.

Onchain can be both secure and usable - it doesn't have to be an either or. But there's a lot to get right to make this happen.
DM me if you want to use this with your team
I bet we’ll see more ascent in the coming years.

Congrats Jesse!
An in depth look at how Splits fits into the broader onchain economy and what it’s enabling
Excited about the future @yb describes in his latest piece
90 second overview.

We've started onboarding teams and have a bunch of QOL improvements coming in the next week.
Quick demo of bridging + swapping atomically.

The goal here is to remove the need to think about chains/bridging/etc...sending funds should "just work".
before pivoting your mission you should offer your investors their money back.

if you don’t have a mission, you shouldn’t raise money unless you have a product that’s already working.

otherwise you’re a fish out of water with no idea of where the water is.

Pay someone what they want, regardless of what you have...doesn't even have to be on the same chain.
Smart accounts are coming...
Assets are now grouped by token instead of by chain.

Instead of keeping a manual/offchain mapping, right now we're just grouping by token symbol (w/ some price filtering). It's not perfect but should work for 90%+ of tokens, and the others we can handle on a case-by-case basis.
