why is it that every time my son gets me sick, I end up being more sick than he was?
The feeling of getting the kids in bed and the kitchen clean, you boil some water, put some decaf, think about what you are going to watch on TV with your partner, finally sit down to rest a bit and disconnect, get the remote, touch it and start feeling something sticky because your kids, don't want to know what, use the remote with anything sticky (they were eating gummies today so I want to believe it is a gummy).

I read a book about an elephant to my 6 month old & accompanied it with elephant sounds, something my older son used to love.
But this one got scared & started crying inconsolably until mom came and saved him from the scary elephant man.
It’s so interesting how different kids can be, and how much of their personality seems to come factory preset.

My last 2 days with a 6.5 month old:

I’ve recently spoke with 15 families across the US, two of them just quit their jobs because they couldn’t find child care.

During conference week we have the book fair and us teachers get $20 to get books so I picked up these gems for my daughter. We have officially hit our Bluey phase.
Parents sometimes give harsh advice because they don't want their children to fail.
But I realize it's my ego.
The most important thing is to take care of the child's heart.
You don't have to keep moving forward. Sometimes it's okay to stop and step back.
As long as your mind and body are healthy, you can always challenge yourself!!

It was a last working day before the 8th March. I was extremely busy during the last few days and had no willings and time to buy any presents for anybody. When I took my kid to the kindergarten I noticed that many parents came with presents. I felt mortified not preparing any gifts for the teachers. I noticed that I was going red and I wanted to crawl under a rock.
But I decided to buy some chocolate candies and gift its when I would came back at the evening. When I picked my kid from the kindergarten I gave chocolate candies to my son and he had got the wrong end of the stick and gifted it to another teacher from the other group. I feel ill at ease because it was a faux pas. Our teacher stood near by and waited for the present. But I had no presents any more…
