2024 monsoon season has ended.

Although I didn’t have a proper ride and I currently don’t own a fully working camera, I used a lent one from a friend.

I am still the only full time storm chaser photographer in Sinaloa, Mexico and I feel honored to hold that badge.

I chased 50+ storms.

These are my favs.
You have no idea how loud this thing was. It shook whole the city, like a ~4.5 earthquake and the rumbling was just, wow!

I shot this bolt tonight landing within Culiacan, Mexico, as I am full time chasing storms as still the only one doing it full time in the state of Sinaloa, in the pacific northwest of Mexico.

Take a moment to zoom in and enjoy the prisma effect around the bolt.

Today I woke up to a very random thought about AI Art and I came to the realization that AI Art is visual poetry.

The thousands of words required to produce a visually appealing image like “flores obscuri | atrum speculum” by my talented friend @eirrann.eth can’t be described any other way.

I wished I could claim I planned this perfect composition without having to crop it, though, the only thing I really planned was to wait for the airplane to be framed by that tree.

I got my mind blown away when I saw the RAW perfectly balanced without having to crop or rotate the photo at all 😳

Monsoon season has started and once again I’m asking for help to chase this year.

This is my fifth year as the first storm chaser in Sinaloa, Mexico, and I feel less prepared than ever. Last year I had four cameras; today, only one works. My tripods are broken, and my car is unavailable for at least two months. Despite this, quitting is not an option — I believe this is my calling.

Support this guy chase full time this year, buy an edition or 1/1, place a bid or send an offer. Every dollar counts 🫡
