I would be dishonest to myself if I shared anything but 'scizors x eirrann = samhain' on this of all days

with all due humility, I think it's a perfect example of what is wonderfully (un)usual in art today

raddest collab evar with my IRL identical twin @scizors.eth

I'm not sure how @erikx has fewer followers on FC than I do, but it's not okay

you can see his background in photography shining through in his AI work, which I'm fairly sure this well executed image is an example of

through such powerful photography, @innamosina explores how in an environment of all-encompassing oppression, simple acts of self-preservation challenge the new normal and hope becomes audacity

I've been very inspired lately by the artwork that @fercaggiano has been sharing from her collection of portraits, "Like a Girl: Dare to Dream"

this portrait of a veteran who looks like so many of the powerful women with whom I had the honor of serving in the military brought great joy

I've never shared this before, created while exploring my vitreous fractalism visual vernacular

to me, it evokes the multifaceted nature within each of us

this image by @nimaleophotos.eth
stopped me mid-doomscrool and made me want to know all the details about how he created it

it's not quite like anything I've seen before

I think @tomba-animation's work is infused with delight

I admire the joy that this artist brings with work in a little-practiced genre like claymation

if you're not following tomba, you're doing it wrong

when I think of an artist who challenges traditional norms and pushes boundaries, the first person who comes to mind is my wombmate @scizors.eth

a great example is 'in the beginning was the Queen', a powerful homage to a Queer icon

these flowers by @artzydreams brought me tremendous joy when I saw them today

very aligned with my own floral obsession, the delicate, ephemeral petals pulled me deep into introspection and made me think about the fleeting nature of life (in a positive way)
