GM Friday! ITAP of our storm!
Another day another dollar! Contemplating how I am loving this job and making a good wage with great benefits. I still have room for creativity and writing too and my brain is lively.
I also feel guilty for not being able to do everything for my child and be there with her and my dog. And my co-writing friend who has had a lot of my time. Thinking about how that guilt has let me walk away from my power before and how to embrace it instead.

Trying to keep creative flow while caring for a kiddo, a home, work and friends is no joke. Add my own functionality issues and I’m super proud of myself for managing to do some bits of writing.

The Saga
Dulingurel bounced along the rutted country road, even the fine wheels of her new carriage - her husbands carriage - not capable of smoothing the ride. She smoothed her skirts around her for the tenth time, the smile that dawns on her face both nervous and full of too much joy to contain.
She was married, now. Her mother and small sister would be okay, now. This was her father’s final gift to them all, this arranged marriage.
And Hughelor was lovely. Talk and handsome, with a ready smile and happy to hear her thoughts, to share books and walks. The house, the wealth…she was the most fortunate girl in the world.
The carriage finally pulled up in front of the grand house, her new maid and gardener waiting to welcome their mistress as the houseman helped her out and began to bring in her trunks.
Yes, she was the most fortunate girl in the world.

Went to see Moana 2 today. I love going to the movies and used to go 2-3 times a week in Denver.
I’m determined to resurrect that level of creative input in my life. Absorbing books, movies and shows is a huge source of inspiration for me along with gaming.
