One major bottleneck in the EVM is handling state and state growth. State is persistent and cannot be deleted (similar to 4844 bobs).

Addressing the effect of state growth on performance often requires changing how the state is stored/handled which breaks EVM compatibility

I am testing the fantasy.top game and I can tell it's addictive.

Let's see how my pack performs
I had a very insightful discussions with 2 of the top Bitcoin L2 Builders (founder of Citrea and BOB)

Some key insights
1. BTC bridging between L2s & L1 is the largest challenge that sets L2s apart form sidechains
2. BitVM is positioned to become the defacto way to implement trust-minimized bridging between L2s & L1
In Ethereum, L2s appeared slowly until the architecture was robust and no it's easy to launch an L2 in 5 mins using Caldera, AltLayer, etc

In Bitcoin, at least 10 L2s are going to launch on mainnet in 2024. Each has different approach to security, bridging and building a community.
I am hosting a Twitter space on Bitcoin L2s with the founders of Citrea (ZK rollup on Bitcoin) and BOB (BTC-focused Ethereum rollup with Bitcoin merged mining)

We will be discussing Bitcoin rollup security assumptions, bridging security and the potential use cases.

Recommendations for other points to discuss?
I am hosting a Twitter space on Bitcoin L2s with the founders of Citrea (ZK rollup on Bitcoin) and BOB (BTC-focused Ethereum rollup than can be secured by merged mining)

It will be an interesting discussion on Bitcoin rollup security, bridging security and the potential use cases
Some great advice on how to handle rounding errors that result from solidarity fixed-point operations
The $DYM airdrop technique is quite interesting.

Despite trying to replace Ethereum as the consensus layer for rollups, they dropped the token to Ethereum addresses 🤔

Given that any real use of $DYM requires IBC transfer to Cosmos, my guess is that it's structured this way to attract Ethereum users to Cosmos
My friend Leo's first frame on Farcaster. Give it a try.
Frames can make Farcaster the default home for building crypto communities

Once "exclusivety" is built for frames, it's easier for a community to follow a new project & interact with it from a single platform
This article was a lot of work but it was a pleasure to go deep on ZKP, FHE and MPC and understand which applications fit each of them

On-chain privacy will be a thing despite the government hate for crypto and privacy :)

What are the most interesting privacy focused applications on Ethereum and rollups.
P.S. I don't mean Aztec, I mean applications or less-known infra plays
I am seeing many smart people who want to build decentralized computing for AI.
I have questions for you
1. Is there current censorship in AI computing?
2. Can decentralized computing be cheaper than Lambdalabs and similar startups?
3. How to split model execution over a network without killing performance?
App rollups are the future of all large apps that are built on top of Ethereum.

I can see Farcaster becoming an app rollup in the future.

However, the throughput may still not be enough. App rollups need further scaling approaches. I discussed these approaches in my last article.

Finally joined Farcaster!

The delay was not because I don't like it but because Android devices were not supported for the longest time!
