1/ the issue with connecting @monerium got solved today 💪🙏

3/ but trying to add it as a new verified address on @warpcast is still not working, and I don't know why🤔

I got a new Coinbase smart wallet. Trying to test all the things and learn a little.
Today, trying to add it to Warpcast as a verified address. But there's an unknown error when I try to sign the message. What could be the cause?

(Windows, Brave w/ Shields off)

- Does Warpcast support smart wallets?
- Is it a more general problem when signing with smart wallets?
- Could it be because I haven't used the smart wallet on Ethereum (L1) and so it's not "deployed" there and therefore can't sign? (I just have done things on base, OP, and Polygon sidechain)
- Just Warpcast <-> Coinbase Smart Wallet <-> passkey manager that can't talk to each other? (I tried both in Browser & sending it back to my phone to sign, both fail)

Any other ideas?

I'd like to make it work so I can start recommending people get smart wallets instead of EOAs, because no one wants to hide 12 words in a vault :)

I'm trying to see how to make subnames to basenames.
Documentation seems to imply it's possible, but neither in base.org/name or in ens.domains can I figure out how to do it.

I want to assign my smartwallet a subdomain of my basename (just like it has one of my @ensdomains : s.hardymathieu.eth )

anyone got an idea?

I'm trying to do the smart thing and move away from EOA, and created a coinbase smart wallet to kickstart it, but I can't seem to be able to use it to make an account in @converseapp . I just get directed to Coinbase Wallet that manages eoa.

There's a new paper from the Digital Assets Research Institute (da-ri.org), "Runaway Citations & Bitcoin Misinformation V2.0" that I found out about recently.

As the title suggests, the article ( https://docsend.com/view/q9aas79d94csuf8z )points out there’s a list of publications related to Bitcoin’s energy usage with methodological flaws. And then contrasts them to studies with reproducible methodologies related to Bitcoin’s energy usage.

Naturally, I was curious about the actual conclusions of the studies with reproducible methodologies and wanted to add them to my to-read list. It takes a minute to collate it all, so I thought I’d save you some time and share the list. They are here (there are even 2 links to directly chat with papers 🤯 2024 is wild) as replies because otherwise it's too long a post :)
