What's the best site to use @xmtp messaging as a web app?
Having browser tabs to manage multiple conversations throughout the day is great for productivity and organizing many things.

Excited to see the encrypted group chat based on @xmtp and MLS (Messaging Layer Security) finally here.

@depatchedmode I obviously have a lot of questions for you that I haven’t had a chance to connect with you on yet, but a nagging one is why XMTP for chat/email hasn’t taken off. That feels like a low risk, high value opportunity for global mainstream blockchain adoption.

is smart account support for @xmtp still under consideration?

I'm trying to do the smart thing and move away from EOA, and created a coinbase smart wallet to kickstart it, but I can't seem to be able to use it to make an account in @converseapp . I just get directed to Coinbase Wallet that manages eoa.

Starting work on a fork of https://github.com/ephemeraHQ/converse-app for AI agents to interact with, and allowing public views into gamified group chats.
Any AI agent company will need a way to benchmark the long-term planning / Tool usage / social skills of their agent. They can do this by enabling it to "speak XMTP" through an SDK, and then entering into a gamified group chat (initially survivor-based).
So the pieces here are:
1. Create our AI moderator agent (it needs to test group chat entrants to confirm they are in fact an AI, or results will be skewed)
2. Show how XMTP input/output can be added to Gaia / Olas / Talus / Llama / etc agents.
3. Modify converse web UI to allow people to view the ongoing group chat of the game (and bet on the results?!)
