Can Network States compete power away from amoral incumbent systems and generate consensus through love?
Has anyone explored the thought-scape of how Network States could/would function during a world war?
I don't know enough about crypto.
I like decentralizing authority, the concept of trust but verify, privacy, and the power of private keys. That's all good. But there is a flip side of the coin (though it's often overblown in rhetoric) that these powers also enable and empower the worst criminal organizations. Is that just the dark side of this technology or is it possible to do a little better?
What do you guys think of this? It's a little old, from before Biden dropped out, but it really gets me thinking about all the different perspectives that all these different groups must have. I expect some variation of this would become emergent as any new Network State grows, but who knows whether those emergent jumbles of perspectives would map to anything similar to this?
