What’s one thing you love about what you do?
I love showing kindness and appreciation to the people who work for me. Too often, employees are treated like just a number, but they deserve recognition, a heartfelt "Thank You," and time to connect on a personal level. When employees know you genuinely care about them and are willing to stand up for them, you earn their loyalty and dedication. Remember, no one is more important than anyone else. Treating others with respect and humility goes a long way in fostering a strong, motivated team.

What’s a goal or dream you’ve recently added to your list?
I dream of becoming as self-sufficient as possible, creating a lifestyle where I can "live off the grid" by generating my own power, growing my own food, and providing for most of my daily needs. Through my research, I’ve realized that while this goal is achievable, some external resources, like internet access and phone service, may still be necessary. My focus is on controlling what I can and striving to leave the smallest environmental footprint possible.

I truly appreciate a busy day at work! The hours seem to fly by, and staying mentally engaged keeps my energy levels high. There’s nothing worse than the drag of boredom and the fatigue that comes with it. Busy days are productive and invigorating!

What's one area of your life where you're constantly striving to improve?
I'm always striving to be the best father I can be. With two children I adopted from birth, I often wonder what their lives might have been like if I hadn’t adopted them. Would their lives have been better? Worse? The idea that they might have had a better life without me gives me pause. This thought drives me to give them as much love, support, and guidance as I possibly can. I want to make sure that their lives, with me, gives them the best chance at becoming great adults that do something positive for humanity. They deserve the very best, and I’m determined to provide it.

What’s one goal you’ve been talking about but haven’t started yet? What’s stopping you?
I've been talking about taking down an average sized tree in my backyard. The tree is starting to die so it needs to come down. What's stopping me is fear. The tree is close enough to my house that it could hit my house if not felled correctly. More research and calculations are required before that tree comes down. Make no mistake, it will come down!
