One thing I really love about Farcaster is that it feels like I can talk about anything here. There’s no pressure to pick a niche like on other social media platforms. Thanks to the channels, I can speak about whatever I want, and no one would think I’m crazy for not sticking to the same topic.

What’s the point of maintaining a streak in a channel? Is it just for fun? 👀 I noticed that it used to be more prominently displayed on the profile, but now it’s less visible and only shows a star with the number of days. I’m not sure why I would want to try keeping up with it…

It’s been 4 days since I started being active here, and today was the first time this was the first social media app I opened in the morning. I guess the addiction built quickly haha 😅😹
I’ve been on Farcaster for a few days, actively reading everything, and it doesn’t feel so complicated anymore. If I were onboarding someone, I’d tell them not to freak out when they first register and have to absorb a lot of new information. It gets much easier to understand after participating for a few days.

After exploring all day yesterday, I have so many questions… How does degen work? How does one get moxie? What are all these subscriptions that some channels require? Is there an FAQ or some guide for new users to catch up on? It feels like a whole new world out here 🤯
First newbie question: How on earth do I get to cast in channels if no channels accept newbies? 😯
