On Sunday, I made a huge lower bracket run and ended up getting 2nd place at a major Smash Melee tournament!
It feels to insane to me because just three weeks ago I placed 3rd at a different tourney, which marked my best major placing at the time.
It hasn’t even been a month and I’ve already surpassed that!
I find it somewhat poetic that my best placing ever also marks my two year anniversary of joining Nouns. I honestly couldn’t believe that when I read it at first. How quickly time has passed, wow. Getting a bit emotional just thinking about it.
As Sasquatch said, I have not only grown as a competitor, but as a person as well. I strongly believe that this growth would not have been possible without Nouns. It is an honor to be a part of this team and community.

Ended up getting 3rd/601 at Riptide this past weekend. Despite having placed 3rd at Shine 2023, this was definitely the closest I have ever come to winning a major tournament

On Sunday, I managed to clutch an extremely close set vs Wizzy (rank 8 in the world) to advance to top 8 at one of the hardest tourneys of the year!!!
WOOHOOOOO!!!! Had some nail biter sets but won Matcha Cup over SDJ, Junebug, and Hungrybox!

Every Wednesday, I go to NYC to represent @esports at "The Nightclub," the largest weekly tournament series in the world for Super Smash Bros. Melee
This week, I managed to win the entire tournament without dropping a single game, which I had never done before!! ⌐◨-◨
For anyone who lives in/nearby NY, you NEED to check out this event! It's held at OS NYC, a really nice gaming bar/lounge where people come by to play, spectate, grab a drink, or even just hang out

Justus really puts in work to make the Melee community a better place. This is especially evident from his combo video series called "And Friends." He recently uploaded "And Friends vol. 4" to YouTube, and it was a hit.
Even if you're unfamiliar with Melee, you'll enjoy the video due to his insane editing skills alone

I got to try Nashville hot chicken straight from the source! Was super spicy but sooo good. Btw they call this building "The Batman tower" which I thought was hilarious🤣
