Just want to throw a shout to everyone at @base for the incredible job building a welcoming community that's excited to experiment with new ideas. We wanted to launch on an L2 a year ago, but nothing felt like a good fit. Seeing the energy here over the past few months made everything much easier. Thanks for the push!
This week I built @intrinsicdotart, a generative art platform that uses composable trait tokens on Base to let users explore and mint artwork, then recombine them or trade with others to build their ideal work of art. Metta by @monkmatto launches on April 30 @ 1pm EDT.

Excited to be launching @intrinsicdotart on /base with Metta by @monkmatto. Base helps us achieve our vision where collectors own fungible traits as tokens that represent the constancy of artistic ideas even in a natively generative world of ephemeral artifacts.
There are so many great options for releasing generative art, but I always wished artists could keep their algorithms “alive” after they were sold. We created intrinsic.art to help artists build a community that continually explores and shapes the outputs of an algorithm over time.
It's exciting to see both artists and collectors more willing to experiment with code-based art in new ways. I love this term malleability to describe the direction many projects are moving in: a durable and lasting core that evolves over time through the countless imprints of an enthusiastic community.
