Proudly presenting the teaser for the mini-documentary Uganda Connection. This film follows two Gnars members, videographer (me) and a professional skater @garciarodrigues on a journey to discover communities using skateboarding as a tool for envisioning a brighter future. These communities have built their own spaces in true DIY spirit, and we joined them to provide safety gear, Gnars-branded apparel, and new skateboards. We also explored the possibility of building a professionally designed skatepark to elevate opportunities and skate culture in the city.
